This website has been established by Author Ajai Kumar Chhawchharia as a dedicated site to promote and make easily available wonderful devotional and spiritual literature of India in English, in the form of freely downloadable ebooks (standard PDF format) on different themes, topics and subjects pertaining to Hinduism. Availability of the great Indian scriptures in simple English will help overcome the language barrier that has hitherto acted as a hindrance in their spread and understanding by a large part of the world.
The knowledge that has hitherto lain buried in the voluminous scriptural texts that no one either has the time or the inclination in the modern world to dig into and unearth from libraries or personal archives, will now be easily accessible in simple English language by direct download from this website.
This website will therefore help bring to world stage the wonderful philosophy of spiritualism, metaphysics, theology, devotion etc. for which Indian scriptures are so famous. This website will make this vast repository of right and truthful spiritual knowledge of the Indian scriptures available to the modern world in English, in a very convenient and easy manner.
Since this website < www.tulsidas-ram-books.weebly.com > is dedicated to spreading the Word of Lord God, and is wholly devoted to this purpose, so it is assigned the heading “THIS IS LORD GOD’S OWN WEBSITE”—because it is the Lord God who is being served through it.
Besides this, the specific nomenclature of the website that has the words ‘tulsidas-ram-books’ clearly tells the main focus of this site: It is to make available to the world all the books of Goswami Tulsidas that Ajai Kumar Chhwchharia has written in English. All these books will be comprehensive—they will have the Original Text, followed by their verse-by-verse Roman Transliteration, and then their exposition in English alongside elaborate notes and explanations. A list is given below.
Since the broader aim of Ajai Kumar Chhawchharia is to make as many scriptural texts as possible available to the world in an easy and convenient manner, numerous other books, besides those of Goswami Tulsidas, are also included in this site. These books are either based on the Upanishads, or English renderings of various versions of the epic known as ‘Ramayana’, the Story of Lord Ram. A list is given below.
